Introduction to Immunisations Training – face-to-face event in Oxford

A 2-day training course targeted at healthcare professionals and healthcare support workers new to the role of administering, promoting, and advising on vaccination.
This is a face-to-face course and will take place at Unipart House, Garsington Road, Cowley, Oxford OX4 2PG (use OX4 6LN when inputting address into a SatNav). The training is available to everyone, regardless of workplace location or geographical area.
Aims of course
- To relate to practice and emphasise key learning points for each content area outlined within the Public Health England National Minimum Standards and core curriculum for immunisation training for registered healthcare practitioners
- To address current issues and be informed about local resources and teams to support practice
- To provide a platform for delegates to ask questions

Booking Information
The cost of taking part in the course is £390 per delegate, which will include two full days of training, lunch, refreshments, course materials and free parking at the venue. In previous years we have been able to offer this training course free of charge; however, in the absence of external funding for 2024, the sessions are offered to delegates at the cost of delivery and are not for profit.

Suggested Prior Learning
- It is suggested that delegates complete sessions that are relevant to their role from the free e-Learning for Healthcare Immunisation course, consisting of 7 knowledge sessions.
