IIC - The ESPID-Oxford Course is a residential training course covering topics in paediatric infection for paediatric infectious diseases trainees and trainers, and for all those who manage children with infections. This will be the 18th edition of the course. After having to cancel last year's IIC, the Organising Committee have decided to hold IIC 2021 as a one-day, intensive virtual event.

The aim of this course is to provide both basic information and updates in keys areas of paediatric infectious disease for both trainees and senior specialists. This year's course will be an intensive, virtual one-day course with plenary talks, a debate and case rounds by world-renowned experts.

There are three categories of registration*:

  • Those working and living in LMIC (£50)
  • ESPID, PIDS and BPAIIG members in all other countries (£100)
  • All others (£125)

*These fees are for HCPs who are working in medicine / research. Those from industry wishing to register should contact iic@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk.
