OVG Immunisation Training is provided for healthcare professionals, both those who are new to immunisation as well as those with existing experience.
INTRODUCTION TO IMMUNISATION TRAINING
Introduction to Immunisation training courses are held several times per year. 2-day face-to-face for those new to their role.
Event Information
- aligned with Public Health England National Minimum Standards and core curriculum for immunisation training for registered healthcare practitioners
- focused on both adult and paediatric national immunisation programmes and policies (not travel vaccines)
- aimed at all healthcare professionals and healthcare support workers who are new to the role of administering/advising about immunisation and who have not previously completed an induction course
- delivered by a range of local immunisation specialists
- opened to those working in any region of England

Immunisation Update training courses are held throughout the year. A mix of half-day and day courses delivered virtually or face-to-face for those with current experience

OVG IMMUNISATION SEMINAR
OVG hosts an annual Immunisation Seminar. This popular day seminar provides an ideal opportunity for healthcare practitioners and others who work in the area of immunisations, to both update their current immunisation knowledge and to hear the latest developments in the topic of vaccination. Content is delivered by a range of leading immunisation experts. There are exhibition stands.
