Hannah Robinson
Clinical delivery lead
I have been a qualified paediatric nurse since 1997. During this time I have worked in general paediatrics and paediatric specialist surgery, with a particular focus on neurosurgery. I have worked for OVG since June 2008, where I have been the lead nurse on studies researching new vaccines against meningitis type B and carriage studies. In my role as a senior research nurse I have joint line management responsibility for the clinical research fellows and responsibility for some of the paediatric research nurses, this includes supporting and developing their career. With the other senior research nurse I form part of a team that reviews new studies and begins the study setup process, before the study is handed over to a research nurse in the ‘lead nurse’ role and a ‘lead Dr’.
